When we first moved from Spain to Michigan, we faced the moving of all our stuff from Atlanta, Georgia (where we had what we thought was going to be our permanent home) to Michigan which included one cat and one dog.

As we landed in a small apartment until we found a house, we had to look for a kennel for our dog Rufo as he is way too big (he's a German brakko) to stay with us 5 in a 2 bedroom apartment (we didn't pick the apartment it was picked for us =/). The only place I liked for him was a kennel outside of Romeo. The dog was happy in there, it is an incredibly clean place with large walking areas for them to run and play.

Before reaching the kennel, just after the highway ends I saw this incredible field of corn and a farm just in the middle of it. As I passed by I thought to myself I needed my camera to take a picture for inspiration. I took many pictures of that farm over an almost a year of Rufo staying at the kennel and then I forgot about the farm that so much inspiration brought to me.

The other day I had to drive by the same farm and I remembered the pictures I took last year, so I made a not on my notebook so I wouldn't forget again, and today I finished this little daily painting of the corn field and farm near Romeo, Michigan.

Thank you for visiting.
